Peter Jackson did an amazing job bringing the novels to the big screen. This edition is perfect for any LOTR fan because it includes additional minutes of footage integrated directly in the main movie and tons of bonus material on how they made the movie. After watching all those bonuses, you could do your own movie (if you had the money; it is that detailed). It also comes with a miniature of the two statues of the Argonath and a DVD from the National Geographic about the movie.
